They are formed when concentration and interest in the discussion within the group relates to specific regions of a city, state or country. The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona.

This is a Phoenix, Arizona-based group where we can share, connect and continue discussions from the consultancy "Assessing Risk for Emerging Arboviral Disease" hosted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, ISDS, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, held in Phoenix, AZ June 14-15, 2016.

Welcome to the Intermountain Syndromic Surveillance Collaborative Group! The ISSC group consists of local and state public health partners from Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. The mission of the ISSC group is to work collaboratively to strengthen the community of practice among participating states. The specific goals include sharing queries, creating queries of regional importance, and working towards information sharing among participating states. This group meets quarterly to discuss work plans.

The purpose of this group is to connect surveillance practitioners in the Northeast states (HHS Regions 1 and 2, plus Delaware and Pennsylvania). This is a new Chapter on Healthsurveillance.org with a recent in-person meeting to "kick off" the collaboration. Meetings so far have been on an as-needed basis but it is expected a more formal schedule is forthcoming. Topics of interest to Regional syndromic surveillance practitioners include opioid abuse and overdose surveillance and influenza.

This is a group consisting of public health agency staff in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa working with Syndromic Surveillance data collected within Region 7.

The Region 8 Data Sharing Group is a group open to all Region 8 jurisdictional members. The focus of the group is collaboration within HHS region 8, including the sharing of ideas, expertise, and data (when warranted).

This is the official HHS Region 9 Data Sharing Workgroup site. We welcome members from Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and New Mexico.

This group serves as a collaborative space for public health surveillance practitioners from HHS Region X. This group meets quarterly to discuss data sharing, best practices, and use cases.
