Part of the mission of ISDS is to ensure to the best of our ability that every person working in public health has full access to the resources we provide. Our two most visible and effective methods of education are to provide free memberships to persons from countries designated as "low income
" by the World Bank, reduced-rate membership to all students enrolled in graduate degree programs and reduced registration fees at our Annual Conference for both of these groups.
Our most urgent need is supporting those who attend the annual conference. Every year, ISDS waives approximately $15,000 in registration fees by accepting students, fellows and low-income registrants to the conference. Please help us keep the seats full in our lectures by giving to ISDS to support a registrant who may not otherwise be able to attend.
Your support will go directly toward maintaining this program for 2018 and years to come, so please consider a gift of any amount. ISDS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are generally tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor).
