Panel Presentation Guidelines

Please e-mail your presentation slides abstracts@syndromic.org no later than Monday, January 21, 2019.  Please name your presentation as: [your last name]_panel.ppt -- for example "Smith_panel.ppt".

We ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session, so that you can load your presentation onto the laptop before the session begins.

Each panel will be allotted up to 60 minutes, including time for questions and answers (Q & A), depending on the session in which the panel is scheduled. Please note that based on the scheduling of other concurrent presentations, your room might be reserved for a total of more than 60 minutes. Do not plan to use that additional time.

Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive.

Authors are strongly encouraged to:

  • Bring a duplicate copy of their presentation in electronic format
  • Ensure that all font sizes are large enough to be read from the back of the room
  • Ensure that line widths are thick enough to be seen from the back of the room
  • Ensure that color choices provide high contrast
  • Rehearse beforehand to colleagues who will give you feedback

For question concerning your presentation, please contact Mark Krumm.
